Here is a basic overview of the Almighty God-Emperor:
Love the Emperor
for He is the salvation of mankind
Obey his words
for He will lead you into the light of the future
Heed his wisdom
for He will protect you from evil
Whisper his prayers with devotion,
for they will save your soul
Honour his servants,
for they speak in his voice
Tremble before His majesty,
for we all walk in His immortal shadow
- Imperial hymnal
Now, onto me. My real name is… none of your business. I am called many things, but mostly “Drieick.” I have been called “D-money,” “Brick top” and “Brick.” I reside on O’ahu, the gathering place of these isles. While I am not familiar with Hawaiian history, I have been educated on the subject. I know that Kamehameha conquered all the islands except for Kauai and Ni’ihau, though I am not sure what he did about that. Then came the missionaries, around 1820. Captain Cook came long before that, I forget when. The bible was translated by the Americans into Hawaiian. After that, Kamehameha II came along and imposed Christianity. I am not sure exactly how this all went, but that is what I remember from seventh grade (please do not get offended).
I am not exactly sure why I wrote all that, though likely out of boredom. Not exactly a autobiography, I should say. hmm… my favorite movie would be Goodfellas. My favorite anime is Death Note (quite surprised about this one, really). My favorite anime of all time would be Haruhi Suzumiya no yuutsu. My favorite cartoon is Aqua Teen Hunger Force (“Go back to ya’ Mama!”).
More stuff
I love keyboard-crunching. In other words, programming. My favorite programming language, right now, is Python. It rocks and I do not care what your argument is. Though, the only place where Python falls short would be GUI.
I used to be a web developer, working with PHP/MySQL, JavaScript (still JavaScript-ing), XHTML/CSS (of course) and various .NET languages. I found PHP work redundant and .NET either too much work or oversimplified (they were so simple to the point to where I could not understand them – not sure about now, that was over a year ago).
I adore British television, and find Top Gear and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares the best programs on television. Cash in the Attic is interesting as well, though I prefer Top Gear or Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares anytime. I love how BBC shows are educational and informative without being boring (I actually learned what not to do in a job – thank you, Mr. Ramsay!) As for American television, Penn and Teller: Bullshit! is one of my favorite television shows (not that I have ever watched one on television ^^;;).
